Sunday Night Delicacies

300px-BeefCutRib

As the weather warms up, we gonna have to find some new dishes that will be more summery... We don't especially mean lighter, don't be to afraid!!! And when we think about summer, our mind goes to grilling,,, What is your favorite item??? Sausages??? Veggies??? Fish??? Poultry??? Beef??? Pork??? Lamb???...
For this one, we gonna go for something that will need a little bit more work. Ribs are good, no matter what. But if you take beef short ribs, put a nice rub on them, let them marinate for a while, slow cook them for a couple hours and then, grill them, you end up with food made for the Gods!!! And Sunday will be that day.

You might, or not, know that we are related to the French bistrot Le Pere Pinard. After 10 years of hard work providing better food, wine and service to our patrons, the lease is ending up, Our landlord, even in this very difficult times when we all see businesses closing down one after the other, is just asking for ludacris amount of money for rent. So we decided to move on, Le Pere Pinard will no longer be!!!
Saturday, June 13th will be the last night, so come along to celebrate one more timethat great space where some secrets will be buried forever...
Le Pere Pinard
175 Ludlow between Houston & Stanton.

August 13th 1999 - June 13th 2009

This is the end, beautiful friend
This is the end, my only friend, the end
Of our elaborate plans, the end
Of everything that stands, the end
No safety or surprise, the end
I'll never look into your eyes
At Pere Pinard, again.
